Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the American Cancer Society’s premier event to raise awareness and dollars to fight breast cancer. More than just the name of a walk, it describes the amazing progress we’re making together to defeat this disease. In 2006, more than $4.8 million was raised by Making Strides walkers in Florida! Between now and October 16, 2009, Brevard women are challenged to raise a minimum of $200 each.
